Wake up from that cold slumber, Lazy Susan fans! It’s your favorite Midwestern bass player who grew up in New England, owns a tiny blue car, and likes to eat pickles with mustard, Mike D here! And I’m still recovering from the shock of actually having some warm weather this last weekend, because it seemed like the cold just wouldn’t quit these last few months.
But I’m here to tell you that not only are warmer days ahead, but so are more Lazy Susan Band shows! Over the next seven weeks, you have four chances to catch us live: two as a full band, and two as a trio. First up, on Friday June 5, the full band returns to our favorite little brewery in Stillwater for yet another stint on the excellent River Siren patio. Then the LSB Trio loads up the harmony wagon for a trip to Two Sisters Kitchen & Bar in Oronoco on June 20, and for another patio show (weather permitting) at Carbone’s in Minneapolis on June 27.
Finally, on July 10 we return to one of our new favorite stages, The Terrace in Aitkin, for a full band show where we plan on previewing a boatload of songs from our forthcoming record. Tickets are already on sale for $20-25 – and you’re supporting a cool nonprofit with your purchase.
So if you’re ready to pair your sunshine with cool drinks and hot guitar solos, you know what to circle on your calendar – we can’t wait to see you there!
